LILT is seeking culturally fluent In-Game Localization Specialists to adapt in-game content linguistically and culturally, preserving tone and immersive experience across languages. Independent contractor role with flexible schedules and global projects.

You will localize text, UI, dialogue, and narratives, review quality, maintain glossaries, and collaborate with QA teams to fix linguistic issues while contributing to innovative AI and language tech projects.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in the target language.
• ISO 17100 Certification Criteria.
• 3+ years demonstrable experience in localizing game video content.
• Transcreation experience specifically within the gaming sector.
• Familiarity with game engines and localization pipelines.
• Knowledge of scripting formats (XML, JSON) is a plus.
• Passion for video games, especially sports, action, or narrative-driven titles.

Responsabilités

• Localize in-game text, UI, dialogue, subtitles, and narrative content for target languages while maintaining tone, style, and context.
• Ensure cultural relevance and sensitivity by adapting content appropriately for regional audiences.
• Review and edit localized content for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Support the maintenance of glossaries, style guides, and terminology databases.
• Work with localization QA teams to identify and resolve linguistic bugs in-game.
• Provide feedback on localization pipelines and suggest improvements for efficiency and quality.
• Coordinate with language teams
