One World Global Services in the United States is seeking a reliable Japanese interpreter to provide remote interpretation between Japanese and English speakers. This role requires fast, accurate processing in a quiet, secure home office.

You will handle consecutive and simultaneous interpretation as needed, maintain strict confidentiality, and use glossaries, dictionaries, and notes to ensure faithful renderings. Monthly payments are offered, with training and competency opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Japanese at native or professional level.
• Minimum 1 year interpretation experience preferred.
• Excellent listening, retention and note taking to ensure accuracy.
• Able to convey concepts accurately per interpretation protocol and avoid omissions or additions.

Responsabilités

• Provide consecutive interpretation for meetings and calls.
• Perform remote simultaneous interpretation when required.

LANGUAGE : Japanese Interpreter

As a remote interpreter, you play a significant role in facilitating communication between JAPANESE and English speakers. The interpreter needs to be able to process information quickly and with accuracy in a professional manner. It is essential to ensure a quiet & secure environment. Note pads and writing utensils, glossaries, and dictionaries are useful tools.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Fluency in English and JAPANESE
• Minimum 1-year interpretation experience preferred
• Excellent listening, retention and note taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Render correct concepts and meanings according to the conventions of established interpretation protocol, avoiding omissions or additions.
• Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication with permission or at the request of the client.
