Job summary

micro1 is a data lab that helps AI labs & Enterprises train foundational models and agents. We provide frontier evaluations and reinforcement learning environments to improve LLM capabilities, as well as contextual evaluations to monitor and improve AI agents in enterprise settings.

Role: Japanese Bilingual Expert (Contractor, Remote). You will listen to audio clips in Japanese, evaluate nativeness and fluency, and provide detailed feedback in English to help train next-generation AI systems.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Japanese
• Minimum B2 level proficiency in English, especially for written and verbal communication
• Background in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music/audio engineering, or related fields is prefered
• Experience with audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is highly valued
• Strong attention to detail and ability to articulate nuanced language differences
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and accuracy
• Familiarity with media, communications, or teaching is considered an asset
