Responsibilities include following schedules, cleaning floors and restrooms, restocking supplies, and reporting issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in cleaning/janitorial is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to pass background screening (I-9) and have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work scheduled evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily/weekly cleaning schedules for each facility.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in offices and common areas.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and high-touch surfaces.
• Dust furniture, windowsills, and equipment.
• Restock paper products and supplies as applicable.
• Empty and replace trash liners; secure client keys or access codes.
• Adhere to PPE and safety procedures, including chemicals usage.
• Maintain professional appearance and wear the required uniform.

Commercial Cleaning Technician

Norcross/Suwanee/Loganville GA, and the surrounding area

Employment Type:

Part-Time (Evenings & weekends) 15-20 hours a week

Position Summary:

As a Commercial Cleaning Technician at Palmetto Facilities Group LLC, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning and janitorial services in a professional, efficient, and detail-oriented manner. You will help maintain safe and sanitary environments at client locations, both under Jan-Pro contracts and private service agreements. This role requires reliability, trustworthiness, and the ability to work independently while representing the Palmetto brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules as assigned for each facility
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in offices, restrooms, and common areas
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and high-touch surfaces
• Dust furniture, windowsills, and equipment
• Restock paper products and cleaning supplies where applicable
• Empty and replace trash liners in waste receptacles
• Secure client keys or access codes; lock up sites upon completion
• Adhere to all PPE and safety procedures, including the use of chemicals
• Report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptlyMaintain a professional appearance and wear the required uniform

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience a plus, but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently
• Trustworthy with client property and confidential workspaces
• Must be able to pass background screening and eligibility verification (I-9)
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to work scheduled evening shifts.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and carry equipment up to 30 lbs
• Able to walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions

Uniform & Equipment:

• Jan-Pro-branded shirt provided and required
• Employee must supply khaki pants and slip-resistant shoes
• Cleaning tools and PPE provided by the company

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting at $15-hour
