Job summary

Palmetto Facilities Group LLC is seeking a Commercial Cleaning Technician in Aiken, SC for part-time daytime shifts (20-25 hours per week). You will perform cleaning and janitorial services at client locations under Jan-Pro contracts and private service agreements, maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, ability to work evenings, and pass background screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience a plus, but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently.
• Trustworthy with client property and confidential workspaces.
• Must be able to pass background screening and eligibility verification (I-9).
• Reliable transportation and ability to work scheduled evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules as assigned for each facility.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in office, restroom, and common areas.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and high-touch surfaces.
• Dust furniture, windowsills, and equipment.
• Restock paper products and cleaning supplies where applicable.
• Empty and replace trash liners in waste receptacles.
• Secure client keys or access codes; lock up sites upon completion.
• Adhere to all PPE and safety procedures, including use of chemicals.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance and wear required uniform.

Position Summary:

As a Commercial Cleaning Technician at Palmetto Facilities Group LLC, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning and janitorial services in a professional, efficient, and detail-oriented manner. You will help maintain safe and sanitary environments at client locations, both under Jan-Pro contracts and private service agreements. This role requires reliability, trustworthiness, and the ability to work independently while representing the Palmetto brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules as assigned for each facility
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in office, restroom, and common areas

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and carry equipment up to 30 lbs
• Able to walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions

• Jan-Pro branded shirt provided and required
• Employee must supply khaki pants and slip-resistant shoes
• Cleaning tools and PPE provided by the company

Compensation & Benefits:
