Job summary

Guardian is seeking a hard-working janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety of our building. You will vacuum, mop, scrub restrooms, and perform basic maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and taking out trash. The ideal candidate has experience with cleaning equipment and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning tasks, reporting areas cleaned, and ensuring security after cleaning. High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of janitorial experience are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of janitorial experience.
• Driver’s license or reliable transportation.
• Experience with cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Excellent stamina and physical health.
• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the building.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash.
• Clean windows, shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, restock restrooms, and perform minor repairs.
• Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees.
• Secure the building by locking doors once cleaning is complete.
• Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs.
