Guardian is seeking a dedicated janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our building. The role includes vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, carpet shampooing, and light maintenance such as bulb replacements. A strong work ethic and experience with cleaning equipment are highly valued.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of janitorial experience.
• Driver’s license or reliable transportation to the worksite.
• Experience with cleaning supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily.
• Clean windows, shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs regularly.
• Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees.
• Secure the building by locking doors once cleaning is complete.
• Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs.
