Job summary

Biotics Research Corporation in Texas seeks a reliable janitor to maintain clean, safe facilities across manufacturing and office areas. Duties include restroom and breakroom sanitation, restocking supplies, waste disposal, inventory logs, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires basic reading/writing in English and flexibility for overtime when needed. We provide a benefits package with a 401(k) plan with company contributions, incentive pay, paid time off and holidays,

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Previous or similar janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Must complete BRC Janitor training.

Responsibilities

• Restroom cleaning and restocking of toiletries
• Breakroom general sanitation cleaning: floors, tables, countertops, appliances, and restocking utensils/soap/sanitizers/paper towels
• Trash removal from general pickup areas throughout the facility and grounds
• Break down recycle materials into smaller profile to be stored in the recycle trailer/location
• Restroom supplies restocking
• Dusting and vacuuming general office areas as well as common manufacturing areas
• Dusting and cleaning general manufacturing areas frames, vents, light covers
• Laundry duties (washing and drying company kept attire and garments)
• Clean and restock hand-wash stations and drinking fountains
• Restock general PPE’s and cleaning supplies in manufacturing common areas and or satellite locations
• Assisting manufacturing departments with general cleaning when necessary
• Record cleaning, restocking, and supply entries into internal logs
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to perform necessary duties
• Must demonstrates flexibility when re-prioritization is necessary
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Must be able to work overtime when BRC deems it necessary
• Ability to lift (up to 50-lbs), stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, stretch, step, climb occasionally during the duration of the shift, and work in a wet environment.
