Rantec Microwave Systems, Inc. is seeking a reliable Full-Time Janitor to maintain cleanliness, safety, and presentation of our facility in California. The role offers a 4-day work week (Mon–Thu) with daytime hours and responsibilities spanning daily upkeep, floor care, and safety reporting.

The ideal candidate has janitorial experience and knowledge of floor buffers and waxing equipment, with the ability to work independently and handle cleaning chemicals safely.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a janitor, custodian, or commercial cleaner.
• Experience operating floor buffers and waxing equipment is highly preferred.
• Ability to safely handle and manage cleaning chemicals and industrial supplies.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout a 10-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• General Cleaning: Clean, dust, vacuum, and empty trash receptacles throughout the entire facility daily.
• Sanitization: Clean and sanitize restrooms and break rooms daily.
• Stocking & Inventory: Replenish soap, paper towels, and other supplies; maintain inventory.
• Floor Care: Buff and wax floors; sweep manufacturing areas to remove debris.
• Safety & Reporting: Report safety hazards or broken items promptly.

Job description

Rantec Microwave Systems, Inc. seeks a reliable and detail oriented Full-Time Janitor to maintain the cleanliness, safety and overall presentation of our commercial and manufacturing facility. This position offers a stable 4-day work week (Monday through Thursday) with consistent daytime hours. You will be responsible for daily upkeep/cleaning and floor maintenance of the entire facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• General Cleaning: Clean, dust, vacuum, and empty trash receptacles throughout the entire facility daily. Windows as required.
• Sanitization: Clean and sanitize restrooms and break rooms on a daily basis to maintain health and safety standards.
• Stocking & Inventory: Replenish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and toilet seat covers as required. Maintain an accurate inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Floor Care: Buff and wax floors as needed. Regularly sweep floors throughout the manufacturing area to safely remove aluminum chips and production debris.
• Safety & Reporting: Maintain awareness of facility conditions and promptly report any safety concerns, hazards, or broken/defective items.
