Job summary

Wintrust Sports Complex is seeking a part-time janitorial team member in Bedford Park, IL. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing office spaces, meeting rooms, bathrooms and public areas with attention to detail and reliability.

The position reports to the Assistant General Manager within the Operations department and requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts. Candidates should have housekeeping/janitorial experience and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
• Capacity to take direction
• Strong attention to detail
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule; a combination of days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays

Responsibilities

• Performs general clean-up of all areas of the building as directed
• Monitors for spills throughout the facility and clean as needed
• Cleans all floor surfaces and glass in facility
• Cleans and maintain all bathrooms (toilets, sinks, floors, restock supplies, etc.)
• Cleans all guest seating and lobby area
• Facility trash & recycles removal
• Complete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as directed by management
• Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests, provide answers and directions as needed
• Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
• Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up
• Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
• All other duties as assigned by management

POSITION SUMMARY:
