Qualifications

• Two or more years of janitorial work experience, preferably in a leadership role.
• Experience with Allied Universal Janitorial Services, Millard Group, or other Allied Universal business is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and manage stressful situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to coach and mentor staff.
• Flexible schedule; self-initiative; organizational and decision-making skills.
• Active listening and conflict mediation skills.

Responsibilities

• Delegate workload of janitorial staff members.
• Perform quality assurance checks per contract.
• Answer calls from security or mall management for emergencies.
• Oversee closet cleaning and stocking.
• Set up tables, chairs, stages, retail units as required.
• Inform maintenance of deficiencies.
• Conduct safety training and mentor staff.
• Payroll duties as needed.
• Provide productivity feedback to leadership staff.
• Participate in selection and placement of janitorial team members.
• Provide guidance for improvement; may assist with duties.
