Job summary

Allied Universal Janitorial Services is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor for the Millard area. The role directs janitorial staff, ensures service quality, and liaises with customer representatives to meet specifications. The position is based in Chicago, with weekly pay at $24.20 per hour.

Schedule typically runs Monday to Friday, 5:00pm–2:00am. Full-time employment with benefits is offered, including SEIU Local 1 health coverage, holidays, personal days, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 2+ years janitorial experience, leadership preferred.
• Minimum 6 months with Allied Universal Janitorial Services, Millard Group, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Delegate workload of janitorial staff.
• Perform quality assurance checks per contract.
• Answer calls from security or mall management for emergencies.
• Ensure janitor closets are cleaned and stocked.
• Oversee setup of tables, chairs, stages, and retail units.
• Inform maintenance of deficiencies; supervise safety training.
• Perform payroll duties as needed; coach and mentor staff.
• Contribute to staff selection and placement; provide feedback.
