Job summary

Harvard Maintenance is seeking a Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations at assigned properties, ensuring contract standards and safety procedures are followed. You’ll manage staff, materials, and equipment, coordinating tasks and training for new and existing team members.

This role requires a high school diploma and at least 3 years in janitorial work, with preferred supervisory experience and strong English communication skills. Benefits include medical, dental, life, LTD, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in cleaning/janitorial field.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Must be able to write basic business documents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and coordinate cleaning staff, supplies and equipment.
• Maintain oversight of porters and matrons.
• Assign tasks to workers based on job requirements.
• Perform quality control to ensure standards.
• Order and issue supplies and equipment.
• Check work tickets and general equipment maintenance.
