Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitorial Supervisor in Edison, NJ to coordinate cleaning and maintenance for commercial, industrial, and medical facilities.

You will supervise 2 to 50 staff, assign tasks, inspect work, and ensure standards while collaborating with managers and clients.

This full-time role offers morning and afternoon shifts, Monday through Saturday, weekly pay, and a competitive $17.50/hour wage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years supervisory experience in janitorial industry.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to workers and inspect completed work for conformance to standards.
• Issues supplies and equipment.
• Resolve workers' problems or refer matters to the Manager.
• Perform the duties of workers supervised.
• Directly supervise the performance outcomes of 2 to 50 janitorial service employees.
• Assist in training employees.
• Plan, assign, and direct work.
• Provide feedback for managers to effectively appraise employee performance.
• Address customer complaints and resolves problems.
• Collaborate with employees and perform related duties as a Working Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assign tasks to workers, and inspect completed work for conformance to standards

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience
• Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance
