Job summary

UG2 is seeking a Janitorial Cleaner to perform cleaning duties in buildings under the supervision of the Janitorial Supervisor or Manager. The role emphasizes quality customer service and the willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques to maintain hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas, restocking supplies, and handling janitor equipment with proper PPE.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of related customer service and/or facility services experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and stay organized.

• Clean windowsills and windows.
• Maintain janitor closets and janitorial equipment in a clean, safe manner.
• Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
• Maintain vending closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.
• Other routine maintenance duties as assigned.

The Janitorial Cleaner, under the direction of the Janitorial Supervisor or Manager, is responsible for performing janitorial duties for buildings and related areas. Quality customer service skills are required. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential.

Job Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
• Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered.
• Cleaning windowsills and windows.
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.
• Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals.
• Wearing of proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
• Maintain vending closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.
• Other routine maintenance duties as assigned.

Requirements (Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, And Education And/or Experience)

• Six months or more of related customer service and/or facility services related experience.
• Valid Driver's License is a plus.
• Floor care experience is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good client/customer service skills.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail.

Working Conditions And/or Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to work in various physical positions, including standing, sitting, walking, bending and repetitive movement.
