Job summary

Adelante Development Center is seeking a detail‑oriented janitorial associate to perform cleaning and light administrative tasks. You will be responsible for restroom cleaning, floor care, trash removal, dusting, and basic equipment maintenance, while following procedures and safety rules.

The role includes a 1:00pm–12:00am shift Wednesday through Saturday in Albuquerque, with a $1,250 hiring bonus and a starting wage of $17.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
• Three (3) years general work experience preferred.
• Two years custodial work experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write English to understand and interpret written procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs janitorial and administrative duties as assigned.
• Cleans restrooms, restocks bathroom items, and removes trash.
• Cleans floors and carpets, uses vacuums and cleaning equipment.
• Maintains grounds and sidewalks free of trash and debris; handles bulk trash.
• Dusts/furnishings; conducts minor maintenance on janitorial equipment.
• Reports issues to supervisor and may assist adults with disabilities.
