HM Solutions, Inc. is hiring a 1st shift General Cleaner to maintain clean and safe facilities. This full-time role runs 5am to 1:30pm, Monday through Friday, with an hourly pay of $19 and expected 40 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will be dedicated, detail-oriented, and capable of performing cleaning across various environments, following company standards and safety procedures. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs.
• Must be able to perform basic cleaning routines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Previous janitorial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas as designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment including moving furniture as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stored safely; complete a detailed cleaning checklist.
• Follow standardized cleaning processes per company standards.
• Attend regular staff meetings and in-service trainings.
• Follow basic work routines and standards in task execution.

HM Solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Cleaner professional to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality cleaning services across various environments.

What a General Cleaner Does:

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment which includes moving and rearranging furniture.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Ensure that cleaning supplies are in a safe, secure area at all times. Complete a detailed cleaning checklist for each designated area.
• Complete standardized cleaning process as per company standards.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Attend all regular staff meetings and required in-service training sessions.
• Follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
• Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks described in detail.

Job Qualifications/Requirements of a General Cleaner:

• Fulfill the physical requirements associated with this role. This includes stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs. Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads.
• Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
• Previous Janitorial Experience Preferred
