Job summary

Private Company, LLP in New York, NY is hiring a full-time Building Janitorial Porter to maintain a clean and orderly environment. You will perform heavy cleaning, routine janitorial tasks, snow/ice removal, and basic landscaping around the building.

Responsibilities include keeping interior and exterior areas clean, organizing custodial spaces, maintaining cleaning equipment, and complying with NYC recycling laws. Experience in cleaning or maintenance is preferred; English fluency required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields.
• Ability to handle physical workload; lift 50+ lbs.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Working experience with buffing/floor machines.
• Working experience with automatic compactor machines.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.

Salary

Pay starting at $19 per hour. 8-hour shifts on Tues, Wed, Thur, Fri & Sat. Off Sun & Mon Shifts vary based upon sanitation.
