The employee will be responsible for upkeep of the residential building and its property, responding to tenant requests and reporting equipment failures to management, with a focus on problem solving and strong technical understanding.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience, ability to lift 40 pounds, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to identify cleaning needs and act without prompting.
• Clean spills of all types and maintain cleanliness across surfaces and equipment.
• Shovel snow and prepare grounds for inclement weather.
• Maintain facility organization and cleanliness; manage dust and dirt.
• Perform painting, cleaning, pressure washing and check oil gauges to support maintenance.
• Forecast problems and implement preventative solutions in coordination with management.
• Troubleshoot logical issues, plan with management, and complete tasks efficiently.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Reliable Building & Maintenance Services is in search of a skilled and reliable Janitorial Porter to joinour maintenance team.

Employee will be responsible for all upkeep and maintenance of residential building and its property. Candidate will be responsible for identifying the need of repairs, responding to tenant/shareholder maintenance requests, and reporting equipment failures to management. To be an effective Janitorial Porter, employee must be skilled and hard-working, with outstanding problem-solving abilities. Skillful hands, good physical stamina, and strong technical knowledge are important parts of the successful candidates’ talents.

Position Description & Responsibilities

• Willingness to see something that needs to be cleaned, cleaning it without being asked.


• Cleaning spills of all types.


• Shoveling and preparing grounds for inclement weather.


• Ability to create and maintain the facility’s organization.


• Cleaning all surfaces and equipment.


• Need to be able to manage dust and dirt.


• Maintain the facility through painting, cleaning, pressure washing, checking oil gauges etc.


• Foresee problems and implement preventative solutions.


• Perform logical troubleshooting (assessing a problem, developing a strategy with management and completing a job well and efficiently).


• Perform additional jobs as needed.
