Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a Project Manager to oversee hourly staff, ensure standards, and maintain fully staffed locations. This role focuses on coaching, performance development, and ensuring customer satisfaction across accounts.

The Project Manager will lead staff, monitor budgets, and maintain high service quality while fostering strong client relations and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of management experience in a service-related industry.
• Minimum of three years of operational experience in the janitorial industry.
• Business level oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
• Excellent customer service and active listening skills.
• Ability to lead and encourage teamwork; resolve conflict as needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire employees to staff accounts per contract specifications.
• Assign duties and inspect work for cleanliness and completion.
• Determine work procedures and prepare schedules within labor budgets.
• Conduct new hire orientation and safety training for hourly staff.
• Prepare and review time sheets, reports, and work orders.
• Foster open communication and coach employees for success.
• Visit accounts regularly to maintain service quality and customer relations.
• Resolve problems and customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor accounts for new work opportunities and contract expansion.
