Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC is seeking a Janitor/Maintenance Attendant for part-time duties at our Westchase club. The role focuses on keeping the interior and nearby exterior areas clean, safe, and sanitary while assisting members and guests as needed.

Candidates should have CPR certification and experience with children, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. Compliance with policies and active eligibility to work in the U.S. are required.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required, preferably current.
• Experience working with children in a supervised setting.
• Certifications as local/state laws require.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior cleanliness and organization of the club.
• Keep immediate exterior areas clean and presentable.
• Assist with member and guest service as needed.
• Complete daily cleaning checklists as directed by management.
• Follow all policies and procedures in the Team Member Handbook.
• Support management with projects and facility concerns.

Job description

The Janitor/Maintenance Attendant plays an integral part in helping us keep our clubs looking shiny and new. Working with Club Leadership, the Janitor works to ensure that the club facility is kept clean, safe and sanitary.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization on the interior of the club
• Maintain cleanliness on the immediate exterior of the club
• Assist with service to the members and guests, when required
• Daily completion of any itemized checklist of cleaning responsibilities as set forth by the general manager
• Maintain friendly and helpful attitude to all club staff, members and guests
• Know, understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards
• Facilitate member requests or forward to a manager
• Remain aware of club facility concerns including downed/broken equipment and building issues
• Assist in all projects as delegated by club management
• Follow all policies and procedures in Team Member Handbook
• Any additional tasks/projects as requested by management

Requirements

• Obtain or maintain a valid Child/Infant CPR Certification
• Experience working with children
• Certifications, as local/state laws require

Physical Requirements

• Lift 30 lbs. on occasion
• Stand, bend and squat with frequency
• Push and pull cleaning/maintenance equipment as needed
