Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC is seeking a Janitor/Maintenance Attendant for Crunch Fitness locations. You will help keep the club clean, safe and sanitary, both inside and on the exterior, while assisting members and guests as needed.

You must be able to lift 30 lbs., stand/bend, and have a high school diploma or GED. CPR certification and eligibility to work in the U.S. are required; part-time or full-time shifts are available at Cypress location.

Qualifications

• Obtain or maintain a valid Child/Infant CPR Certification.
• Experience working with children.
• Certifications, as local/state laws require.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization on the interior of the club
• Maintain cleanliness on the immediate exterior of the club
• Assist with service to the members and guests, when required
• Daily completion of any itemized checklist of cleaning responsibilities as set forth by the general manager
• Maintain friendly and helpful attitude to all club staff, members and guests
• Know, understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards
• Facilitate member requests or forward to a manager
• Remain aware of club facility concerns including downed/broken equipment and building issues
• Assist in all projects as delegated by club management
• Follow all policies and procedures in Team Member Handbook
• Any additional tasks/projects as requested by management

The Janitor/Maintenance Attendant plays an integral part in helping us keep our clubs looking shiny and new. Working with Club Leadership, the Janitor works to ensure that the club facility is kept clean, safe and sanitary.

Physical Requirements

• Push and pull cleaning/maintenance equipment as needed
