Job summary

The Budd Group is seeking a diligent School Janitor in Camden, SC to keep classrooms and hallways clean and safe for students and staff. Pay is $11 per hour with full-time shifts available from 6:30 AM–3:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, plus a part-time option in late afternoons. Training is provided and background checks are required.

Responsibilities include cleaning, trash removal, restroom sanitation, and floor maintenance, with opportunities for career advancement and access to online classes.

• Location: Vocational Lane, Camden, SC 29020

• Pay: $11.00 per hour

• Schedules Available (Monday – Friday):

  • Full-Time: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM OR 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Very limited Spots Available!)

  • Part-Time: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM OR 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Flexible!)

• Requirements: Ability to lift 35 lbs; must pass background check, drug screen, and SLED.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

As a School Janitor, you are the hero behind the scenes! Your work as a custodian ensures students and teachers have a safe, sparkling environment to learn in:

• Perform general cleaning and sanitation duties to keep the school beautiful.

• Handle routine janitorial tasks like pulling trash, dusting, and mopping.

• Ensure restrooms are fully sanitized and supplies are stocked.

• Maintain floors through vacuuming and mopping as part of your daily custodian routine.

• Work as a team-player cleaner to ensure all classrooms are ready for learning!
