Job Summary

Under general direction, the Janitorial Floor Tech is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and restoring all carpeted and hard surface floors throughout the facility. This role requires expertise in using specialized floor care equipment, applying industry best practices, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.

• Perform all assigned tasks professionally to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors, including tile, carpet, and brick flooring.
• Complete work assignments in a timely manner.
• Utilize appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
• Use and maintain equipment properly and safely.
• Observe safety precautions at all times, including using safety signs such as “wet floor”.
• Work independently without supervision.
• Report safety hazards as appropriate.
• Minimum of 1 year of commercial-related experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willing to work assigned hours.
