Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services is looking for dedicated staff to provide facility maintenance across multiple customer accounts in the Northbrook area. Employees will be responsible for cleaning duties including restrooms, hallways, and other designated areas to meet health standards.

We seek individuals with an eye for detail and a valid Driver's License who are available during our operational hours from 4:00 PM to 12:20 AM. We value diversity and encourage applications from all backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred in facility maintenance and cleaning.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Basic drug screen required.

Summary

Work at various customer accounts, as needed to fill-in or to start a new job. Clean room, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met; complete project work as assigned.

Working Schedule

• Must have open availability during 4:00 PM - 12:20 AM

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Strip/wax floors, carpet extraction, carpet spot removal
• Use floor cleaning equipment as needed (i.e. buffer, walk behind, spot-carpet cleaner).
• General cleaning of building, keeping it maintained and in good condition.
• Empty wastebaskets and take other trash to disposal areas.
• Sanitize restrooms and fill dispensers.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Spot clean glass partitions, window blinds and mirrors.
• Dust furniture, walls, woodwork, window stills, equipment and other assigned areas.
• Mix cleaning solutions according to specifications.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
• Perform other duties and tasks assigned by supervision.

• Valid Driver's License and basic drug screen are required.
