Job summary

GDI, Inc. seeks a facility cleaning professional to work at multiple client sites in Illinois. You will clean floors, restrooms, lobbies and other work areas to meet health standards, performing tasks with minimal supervision.

The role requires open availability Monday through Friday evenings (5:00 PM - 1:30 AM) and a valid driver's license. Prior cleaning experience and strong attention to detail are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming
• Use floor cleaning equipment as needed (buffer, walk behind, spot-carpet cleaner)
• General cleaning of building, keeping it maintained and in good condition
• Empty wastebaskets and take other trash to disposal areas
• Sanitize restrooms and fill dispensers
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
• Spot clean glass partitions, window blinds and mirrors
• Dust furniture, walls, woodwork, and other assigned areas
• Mix cleaning solutions according to specifications
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Keep cleaning supplies in stock
• Perform other duties and tasks assigned by supervision

Summary

Work at various customer accounts, as needed to fill-in or to start a new job. Clean room, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met; complete project work as assigned.

Working Schedule

• Must have open availability during Monday - Friday 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM
