Job summary

Del Sol Solutions is seeking a hands-on Janitorial Field Supervisor to lead the Galveston area cleaning crew. You will supervise staff, inspect work, report issues, and ensure the facility is clean, safe, and ready for the client daily.

This full-time role requires reliable leadership, the ability to manage in the field, and strong communication. Valid driver's license and TWIC clearance are preferred, with competitive hourly pay up to $25+.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• TWIC credential or ability to obtain through background check.
• Prior janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, facilities, EVS, or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the janitorial team to ensure cleaning tasks are completed properly and on schedule.
• Inspect buildings, parking lots, parking garages, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Keep assigned areas clean and orderly, including heavy-duty cleaning, routine cleaning, debris removal, and pressure washing as needed.
• Manage trash and debris removal from buildings, parking lots, and parking garages.
• Document completed work, inspections, issues, and follow-up items accurately.
• Train, coach, and support janitorial team members to maintain high standards.
• Communicate clearly with team members and management regarding expectations, supplies, staffing, maintenance issues, and service concerns.
• Report needed repairs, safety concerns, equipment issues, and maintenance needs to management.
• Assist with building security and safety duties, including checking and locking doors and identifying unsafe conditions.
• Maintain and properly use cleaning tools, chemicals, equipment, supplies, and pressure washing equipment.
• Help cover work when needed to ensure the contract is fully serviced.

Overview

Del Sol Solutions is hiring a Janitorial Field Supervisor for an important commercial facilities contract in the Galveston area. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in clean buildings, strong teams, and consistent service.

The right person will supervise janitorial staff, inspect work, document completed tasks, communicate issues, and help make sure the property is clean, safe, and ready for the client every day. This role requires reliability, leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work in the field with the team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential, also known as a TWIC card, through a successful background check.
• Prior janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, facilities, EVS, or related experience is a plus.
• Prior supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to lead people, inspect work, correct issues, and communicate professionally.
• Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to respond quickly to service issues, call-outs, and changing needs.
• Must be dependable, professional, and willing to be hands-on.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies.
• Experience with pressure washing and safe equipment operation.
• Experience supervising janitorial, custodial, facilities, housekeeping, EVS, or overnight operations teams.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
