Job summary

IFS in Stillwater, Minnesota, is hiring a Janitorial Crew Member to join a fast-paced, growing team. The role involves cleaning floors, restrooms, and common areas, with shifts including mornings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in building and warehouse cleaning work.
• Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved oral or written instructions.
• Communication skills to relate to officials, staff and public in a courteous manner.
• Disposition to perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required).

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain building floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, degumming and spot cleaning.
• Clean furniture, walls, glass, mirrors, fixtures, machines and other equipment.
• Gather and empty trash; service, clean and supply restrooms.
• Move furniture or fixtures as needed and with tools.
• Prepare cleaning solutions and monitor/ report facility issues and safety concerns.
