Kellermeyer Bergensons Services, LLC (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Member in Seattle. The role offers an afternoon shift from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM with potential for flexible scheduling and growth opportunities within a fast-paced, growing team.

The position emphasizes cleaning duties across rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas, plus using the KBSPresence app for timekeeping. Starting pay is $21.30 per hour, with benefits for part-time staff where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move up to 49 pounds.
• Must stand and walk for 10-12 hours during shift.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures (in English; Spanish may be used where state requires).
• KBSPresence timekeeping app is used for attendance and training.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of rooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas according to standard procedures.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors; clean windows and stainless surfaces.
• Dust fixtures and shelves; maintain restroom cleanliness.
• Operate and sanitize equipment safely; follow health and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Shifts Available:

12pm-830pm

Summary of duties:

• Performs work according to standard procedure and by building's operational schedule.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the sales floor and seating area.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and products as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the customer and team member restrooms (includes cleaning and policing as needed).
• Complete sweep logs, as directed.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager

Requirements for our Janitorial Crew Positions:

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
• Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenanceinstructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals, sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required)
• KBS utilizes the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software for accurate recording of employee work hours, attendance management, completion of required training, and distribution of important employment-related information. All non-exempt employees are required to download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out for their shifts and breaks. In accordance with applicable local laws, cell phone reimbursement is provided to support the use of personal devices for work-related tasks.
