Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services, LLC (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Member to join our team. Typical shifts run from 6am to 11am or 9am to 2pm, with starting pay of $15.00 per hour.

You will perform cleaning tasks across rooms, restrooms, hallways, and offices, while following safety and health procedures, and using the KBSPresence app for timekeeping. This role offers growth opportunities in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling and company benefits for part-time to full-time

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and safety documents (English; Spanish where required).
• KBSPresence timekeeping app used for attendance and training communications.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per standard procedures and building schedule.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, stairwells, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors; clean windows and surfaces as required.
• Operate equipment safely and follow health and sanitation procedures.
• Record duties and adhere to supervisor instructions.

Starting Pay: $15.0

Shifts Available:

6am to 11am

9am to 2pm

Summary of duties:

• Performs work according to standard procedure and by building's operational schedule.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the sales floor and seating area.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and products as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the customer and team member restrooms (includes cleaning and policing as needed).
• Complete sweep logs, as directed.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager

Requirements for our Janitorial Crew Positions:

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
• Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenanceinstructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals, sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required)
• KBS utilizes the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software for accurate recording of employee work hours, attendance management, completion of required training, and distribution of important employment-related information. All non-exempt employees are required to download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out for their shifts and breaks. In accordance with applicable local laws, cell phone reimbursement is provided to support the use of personal devices for work-related tasks.
