Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Lead in California. This full-time role leads on-site janitorial crews, coordinates daily tasks, and ensures professional, timely service for our clients in a fast-paced environment.

The Crew Lead will supervise 1–3 team members, assist with training, and liaise with the client to address needs. Starting pay is $20.92 per hour, with shifts from 7am–12pm and 1pm–9pm. Benefits and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environment.
• 1-3 years in a Lead/Supervisory role.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and chemical data sheets (English; Spanish where required).
• Ability to follow OSHA requirements, safety guidelines, and forklift instructions.

Responsibilities

• The Crew Lead performs site Crew tasks and ensures tasks are fully executed at the site.
• Interact with the client to provide professional and prompt customer service as needed.
• Provide direction and task coordination for assigned Crew.
• Ensure Crew members understand their responsibilities under each policy.
• Collaborate with Crew to ensure coordination and daily operation success, resolving deficiencies timely.
• Assist Supervisor or Zone Manager with new hires and training.
• Ensure team members have information and tools to do their jobs effectively; provide clarity and support.
• May assist with interviews and training.
• Motivate the crew; lead by example and maintain regular communications with team.
