Job Summary

T he Janitorial Cleaner is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and orderly conditions within assigned facilities. This role ensures that restrooms, common areas, and workspaces meet cleanliness and hygiene standards while supporting a safe and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and fixtures
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout assigned areas
• Dust and wipe surfaces such as desks, countertops, and windowsills
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Replenish restroom and breakroom supplies as needed
• Clean and maintain common areas, including break rooms and kitchens
• Follow all safety procedures, cleaning protocols, and company policies
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
• Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and proper chemical usage
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish is a plus
• Ability to pass a background check
