Berman is a leader in property management and facility services, hiring for a Janitorial Cleaner to maintain clean, sanitary facilities at our assigned locations in Orlando. This full-time on-site role supports restrooms, common areas, and workspaces while adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.

The position requires physical stamina and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with English communication being important and background checks required.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and proper chemical usage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and fixtures
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout assigned areas
• Dust and wipe surfaces such as desks, countertops, and windowsills
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Replenish restroom and breakroom supplies as needed
• Clean and maintain common areas, including break rooms and kitchens
• Follow all safety procedures, cleaning protocols, and company policies
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor in a timely manner
