ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner at our Abilene, TX site to perform a variety of cleaning duties and ensure a clean, safe environment across facilities. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently, with hours Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11 AM to 3 PM at $15 per hour.

You will handle sweeping, mopping, sanitizing restrooms, window cleaning, trash removal, and event setup as needed, while following safety procedures and company protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsabilités

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Empty trash and recycling per policy.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings or events.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met
• Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
