ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to perform a range of cleaning tasks across assigned facilities in Rockville, MD. The role focuses on keeping environments clean, safe and presentable for employees, clients and visitors.

The hourly pay is $18 with eligibility for ABM benefits. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, restroom sanitation, trash handling, window cleaning, and equipment maintenance, plus assisting with event setups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and polish floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, maintain hygiene standards.
• Empty trash and recycling according to policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors and glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings or events as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company cleaning protocols.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces


• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met
