Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare or commercial cleaning experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control standards and cleaning procedures in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to work independently and respond to on-call requests with short notice.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and hygiene.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, exam rooms, operating rooms, restrooms, waiting areas, and other spaces.
• Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requests, including biohazard spills and terminal cleaning.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and proper PPE and hospital-grade disinfectants.
• Safely handle and dispose of medical and general waste.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and sanitizers.
• Document tasks completed and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to meet cleaning needs efficiently.

This role is critical in maintaining a sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors, especially during high-demand periods or in response to urgent cleaning needs.

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’sexperience, skills, abilities, geographic location,and alignment with market data.

Shift: Part-time as needed basis, no specific shift or work days. Will vary week by week

• Perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, exam rooms, operating rooms, restrooms, waiting areas, and other clinical and non-clinical spaces.
