Job summary

ABM Industries is hiring a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties across assigned facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly environment for employees and visitors.

The role covers routine cleaning, restroom sanitation, waste management, window cleaning, and equipment maintenance, with a 40-hour week at $17.50 per hour. Shifts are Mon–Thu 7a–3p and Fri 4a–12p; ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package and veteran-friendly employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in janitorial or related cleaning roles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met
• Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation
