Job description

We are looking for an individual in the Appleton/Menasha/Neenah area who can read, write and speak English as well as Spanish that is interested in a position with ServiceMaster. We have a position for a Crew Lead available from 4:30pm - 12:00am or you can communicate your desired schedule with us. We are willing to work with you!

Job Position Description:
This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customer’s buildings and grounds by performing the following duties and responsibilities. Duties include but not limited to:

• Assigning janitorial duties to staff and regularly inspecting their work to ensure that established standards are met.
• Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to janitorial staff as needed.
• Taking inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment and informing management/contact of any issues, repairs or needed supplies
• Maintains, orders and puts away disposable orders
• Performing all janitorial duties necessary in instances of staff shortages.
• Takes initiative and acts independently to insure needs of the customers are met while working within guidelines established by their supervisor/Branch Manager
• Divides time between leading team as well as performing all cleaning needs of designated area
• Maintains a clean and organized work area such as our supply closets and equipment area
• Communicates any concerns/issues to Branch Manager
• Knowledgeable of building layout and cleaning specifications of the building

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
• Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
• Contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
• Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect
