Air Comfort, Inc. is seeking a Floor Technician / Assistant Supervisor to join a dedicated facilities team. You will perform hands-on cleaning operations while helping lead and train others.

Responsibilities include operating commercial floor-care equipment, performing stripping, waxing, burnishing, and daily janitorial tasks, and ensuring safety and quality standards. Evening shift with weekend coverage as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Operate commercial floor-care equipment, including automatic scrubbers and carpet-cleaning tools.
• Perform stripping, scrubbing, waxing, burnishing, and carpet cleaning tasks.
• Carry out routine janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, restroom cleaning, and trash removal.
• Lead by example and coach team members on procedures and safety.
• Train new employees on cleaning procedures and equipment use.
• Monitor cleaning quality and provide feedback to maintain high standards.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to management.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and routine schedule maintenance.
• Maintain supplies and equipment, keeping areas organized and safe.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial floor-care equipment, including automatic scrubbers, low‑speed and high‑speed floor machines, and carpet‑cleaning equipment.
• Perform specialized floor-care services such as stripping, scrubbing, waxing, burnishing, and carpet cleaning.
• Carry out routine janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, restroom cleaning, and trash removal.
• Lead by example and demonstrate proper cleaning techniques and service standards to team members.
• Train and coach new employees on cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety practices.
• Monitor cleaning quality, conduct inspections, and provide immediate feedback to ensure high standards are met.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and equipment issues to management.
• Assist with special projects, periodic cleaning, and specialty cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Maintain cleaning supplies, equipment, and work areas in an organized and serviceable condition.
• Ensure facilities are properly cleaned, inspected, and secured at the end of each shift.
• Provide weekend coverage as required by the schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team‑lead experience required.
• Previous commercial cleaning or custodial experience preferred.
• Experience operating commercial floor‑care equipment preferred; training may be provided to qualified candidates.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication, organization, and time‑management skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness and ability to perform hands‑on cleaning and floor‑care duties.
• Ability to follow company policies, safety procedures, and customer‑specific requirements.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods; bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and reach; operate cleaning equipment; and lift and transport supplies as needed.
• Ability to work around cleaning chemicals, dust, noise, and wet surfaces, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–1:00 AM, with limited weekend coverage as required. Schedule may vary based on facility needs, special projects, and customer requirements.
