Job Position Description:
Supervisor responsibilities include working alongside and leading a team of cleaners. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all staff stay on task and complete all assignments to ServiceMaster standards. To be successful, you should have a good understanding of cleaning principles and team supervision abilities.
Responsibilities
Hands-On Working Supervisor Position
- Train cleaners on ServiceMaster’s standards, products, processes, and procedures
- Clean assigned buildings, including warehouses, by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming. Gather and empty trash. Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Clean and polish furniture.
- Oversee staff performance and ensure all assignments are completed according to the set schedule
- Respond to customer complaints and requests promptly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA regulations
- Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, trash collection, restroom servicing, and furniture polishing
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and tools
- Dust furniture, walls, machinery, and equipment
- Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water and products as per specifications
- This position involves warehouse and office building cleaning, requiring lifting heavy objects
- Must pass background check
- Location: Blytheville, Jonesboro, Paragould AR and surrounding areas
- Preferred education: training in the custodial field
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in custodial work and 5 years in supervisory or team lead roles, with knowledge of proper cleaning methods
- Use proper PPE when required
- Sales opportunities available with the Area Manager position
Effective oral and written communication skills are required.
Schedule:
Full-time with flexible hours, mainly 8 hours per day, 5-6 days per week, based on facility needs.

- Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead and forward. Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs.
