Job Position Description:

The Supervisor is responsible for working alongside and leading cleaning staff. This role is vital in ensuring all team members adhere to tasks and complete their assignments according to ServiceMaster standards. Success in this role requires a good understanding of cleaning principles and team supervision skills.

Responsibilities:
  1. Train cleaners on ServiceMaster’s standards, products, processes, and procedures.
  2. Perform cleaning duties in assigned buildings, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, trash removal, restroom servicing, and furniture polishing.
  3. Oversee staff performance and ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
  4. Respond promptly and courteously to customer complaints and requests.
  5. Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA regulations.
  6. Clean floors, windows, glass partitions, mirrors, furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
  7. Prepare cleaning solutions as per specifications.
  8. This position involves warehouse/office building cleaning, requiring lifting heavy objects.
  9. Must pass a background check.
  10. Location: Blytheville, Jonesboro, Paragould AR, and surrounding areas.
  11. Preferred education: training in the custodial field.
  12. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in custodial work and 5 years in supervisory or team lead roles, with knowledge of proper cleaning methods.
  13. Use appropriate PPE as required.
  14. Sales opportunities available with Area Manager position.

Effective oral and written communication skills are required.

Schedule: Full-time with flexible hours, mainly 8 hours per day, 5-6 days per week.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:
  • Constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead and forward. Ability to lift/carry 25 lbs.

  • Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and their uses.
