Position Overview

This role manages and oversees operations at assigned locations, providing janitorial services to commercial clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage budgets and programs
• Ensure financial and quality performance
• Generate new business and coordinate with sales and leadership
• Complete and record mandatory Quality Control visits
• Fill in for general cleaners when needed
• Coordinate projects and obtain customer signoff
• Other duties as assigned

Recruitment and Training

• Recruit, hire, onboard, mentor, and evaluate cleaners
• Coordinate with People Operations on employee issues
• Ensure supplies and equipment are available and functional
• Schedule cleaners

Customer Relations

• Maintain regular communication with site management

Qualifications

• 2+ years janitorial management experience
• Knowledge of floor care, chemicals, and equipment
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
• Experience overseeing 40+ employees
• Proficiency with computers and software like Google Suite, Outlook, Word, Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Organized with problem-solving skills
• Availability to work full-time including nights, weekends, holidays
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Janitorial and management experience required

Licensure

Valid state driver’s license required due to travel between accounts.

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift objects over 50 lbs., and perform physical tasks like reaching, climbing, kneeling, and carrying.

Participates in E-Verify, with background and drug screening as applicable.
