Job summary

Collins Pine Company in Lakeview, Oregon, is seeking a Janitorial and Sawmill Cleanup role to maintain clean offices, breakrooms, and perform sawmill and planer cleanup. On-site attendance is essential.

The position requires ability to operate lawn care equipment, follow safety rules, and pass criminal history and drug screenings. Prior janitorial experience preferred, with room to grow in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Previous janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to operate lawn care equipment.
• Ability to follow all company, state and federal safety rules when performing required job duties.
• The ability to pass a pre-employment criminal history check and a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety standards at all times and correct/report any observed safety hazards.
• Clean offices and breakrooms including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, disposing of trash, and scrubbing restrooms.
• Clean food preparation areas including appliances such as microwaves, refrigerators, and freezers.
• Clean glass surfaces and mirrors.
• Perform quarterly deep cleaning including interior windows, oiling the wood paneling, and shampooing carpets and rugs.
• Clean exterior windows bi-annually in the spring and fall.
• Maintain the upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products.
• Ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products.
• Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered on the job.
• Operate lawn care equipment such as a lawn mower, weed eater, and brush hog.
• Assist with planer and sawmill clean up as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as required by supervisor.
• On-site attendance is essential to effectively perform the listed duties and responsibilities.
