Job summary

Platinum Cleaning & Facility Services is seeking an Account Supervisor to lead janitorial teams, ensure high-quality cleaning standards, and maintain excellent client relations in the Cleveland area.

This full-time, on-site role offers hourly compensation between $22 and $25, with opportunities for training, development, and advancement within the PCFS division of Healthcare Services Group, Inc.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in janitorial work.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to lead by example and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Manager to address concerns and ensure service delivery.
• Train new Team Members on scope of work, cleaning techniques, equipment, safety, and expectations.
• Directly oversee Team Members to meet duties and quality standards.
• Inspect work and provide coaching; escalate significant issues to the Manager.
• Assist Team Members with technical issues or complex cleaning tasks.
• Follow up on client, management, and Team Member requests to resolve issues.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Manager to promptly address concerns, develop solutions, and ensure consistent service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Train new Team Members on the facility’s scope of work, proper cleaning techniques, equipment operation, safety requirements, and performance expectations.
• Directly oversee Team Members to ensure assigned duties and quality standards are consistently met.
• Inspect work performed by Team Members and provide coaching and direction when corrective action is needed; elevate significant or recurring performance issues to the Manager.
• Assist Team Members with technical issues, equipment concerns, or more complex cleaning assignments.
• Follow up on client, management, and Team Member requests to ensure issues are resolved timely and appropriately.
• Communicate building changes, operational updates, and changes to the scope of work to the janitorial team and Manager.
• Monitor employee attendance, work assignments, productivity, and adherence to established work requirements, and promptly communicate concerns to the Manager.
• Identify opportunities to improve cleaning quality, efficiency, staffing, and overall account performance and work with the Manager to implement solutions.
• Maintain regular communication with the Manager regarding account conditions, employee performance, client concerns, and any issues requiring attention.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a janitorial capacity required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a supervisory capacity preferred.

Education

Must be 18 years of age.

Work Environment/Hours

Full-time non-exempt (hourly) position.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift items of up to 35 lbs. while moving around and perform other physical duties (i.e., climb ladder, lifting, bending).
• Be able to adapt and work as a team to ensure daily tasks, project work, requests and work orders are completed on time and within company expectations.
• Ability to spend up to 100% of the working time standing and walking.
