Job summary

Economy Cash & Carry Inc. is seeking a full-time Janitorial Associate at our El Paso Zaragoza store. You will perform general cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing tasks across offices, restrooms, and common areas, using Tennant machines and standard cleaning tools. Bilingual abilities and a flexible schedule are valued.

The role supports warehouse cleaning, floor maintenance, and exterior area upkeep, with a rotating schedule that includes weekends. Prior cleaning experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 6 months related experience
• Bilingual preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing tasks throughout assigned facility (restrooms, breakrooms, offices, conference rooms).
• Cleans windows/mirrors and maintains floors; uses Tennant machine for floors; uses mop, vacuum, and cleaning tools as needed.
• Notifies supervisor of safety hazards and documents routine inspections; follows supervisor instructions.
• Duties for warehouse include cleaning floors, moving pallets with pallet jack, and maintaining outside areas.

Our market knowledge, cross-border partnerships, export services, and professional bilingual team have helped make Economy Wholesale Grocers the regional leader in wholesale commerce, serving the U.S. and Mexico.**Duties and Responsibilities:*** Performs general cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned facility to include but not limited to restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and conference rooms.* Cleans windows and mirrors throughout the facility.* Clean, disinfect, sanitize, and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning high/low areas).* Empties and decontaminates trash containers.* Wipes down and sanitizes surfaces throughout the facility.* Maintains facility floors clean of all debris. Utilizes Tennant machine to clean store and warehouse floors. Utilizes mop heads inside office areas.
