Job summary

El Super, part of Chedraui USA group, is seeking a Utilities Clerk at our El Paso store. Assist in proper store maintenance, particularly in Produce, and help customers on the floor as needed.

This role is fast-paced and requires the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, basic PC/Outlook skills, and a commitment to safety and customer service. Starting rate is $12.00 per hour, with benefits including a 401(k) retirement plan and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers, clients, and employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to follow detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 25, 45, and occasionally 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries for customers when needed.
• Carry out groceries for customers if requested.
• Maintain and retrieve store carts, run price checks, assist with go-backs, check stand upkeep, and remove waste from the parking area.
• Ensure the store is clean and safe at all times.
