Position Requirements:

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Vacuuming
2. Mopping, dust mopping, sweeping, and scrubbing floors
3. Emptying waste containers
4. Performing low and high cleaning
5. Delivering collected refuse to the loading dock
6. Performing restroom cleaning and checks
7. Cleaning water fountains, fitness centers, showers, and locker rooms
8. Cleaning freight and passenger elevators
9. Cleaning and polishing furniture and fixtures
10. Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors at prescribed heights
11. Dusting furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
12. Shampooing carpets
13. Stripping, sealing, finishing, and polishing floors
14. Following procedures for the use of chemical cleaners
15. Policing grounds and emptying waste containers
16. Assisting in special events setups
17. Monitoring building for maintenance, safety, and security issues and reporting violations
18. Maintaining custodial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition
19. Reporting shortages of supplies and equipment failures
20. Performing other related work as assigned
