Job Title: Janitor

Salary: $17.75/hr

Job Description

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in factory working areas, washrooms, and other premises such as offices, apartments, or commercial establishments. Responsibilities include:

1. Cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other areas.
2. Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors using appropriate equipment.
3. Cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
4. Dusting furniture and equipment.
5. Polishing metal fixtures and fittings.
6. Washing walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
7. Cleaning windows, door panels, and sills.
8. Emptying wastebaskets and transporting trash to disposal areas.
9. Replenishing bathroom supplies.
10. Maintaining a positive team spirit and producing quality work.
11. Following safety standards and guidelines for equipment use and activities.
12. Performing additional duties as assigned by the Lead Worker or Supervisor.
