$17.00-$20.00 per hour

Franklin County is accepting applications for the position of part-time Janitorial staff. This position would be 20+ hours per week Monday through Friday evenings.

This position involves cleaning services for county offices in Benton, Illinois. This areas for the new hire to personally clean; this includes lobbies, restrooms, break rooms, common areas, and offices. The responsibilities will involve the collection and removal of trash, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and the cleaning of glass and doors.

The performance of these duties requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently.

This position requires that you be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds as well as stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.

The position requires that the employee have a valid Illinois driver’s license. The employee must pass a significant background examination that is free of felony convictions and serious misdemeanor offenses.
