Janitor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and flexible Janitor willing to undertake non-routine cleaning and special projects as needed. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and public spaces. Additional duties may be assigned.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Clean floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
2. Collect and dispose of trash.
3. Service and clean restrooms, ensuring supplies are replenished.
4. Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
5. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and tools.
6. Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water and detergents or acids as specified.
7. Operate vehicles required for cleaning tasks, including vans, industrial trucks, or vacuum cleaners.
8. Follow safety procedures when using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
9. Monitor building security by locking doors after hours and checking electrical appliances for hazards.
10. Report major repairs or system issues to management.
11. Requisition necessary cleaning supplies and equipment.
12. Maintain full mobility and perform tasks involving reaching, stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, squatting, and climbing stairs.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

Experience: Preferably previous janitorial experience.

Must speak, read, and write English. Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug test, and background check. Valid driver’s license required for on-site driving.

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory; sponsorship is not available for this position.
